Antiscalants
Product Overview
Antiscalants are chemicals added to feed water before an RO unit to help reduce the scaling potential. Antiscalants increase the solubility limits of troublesome inorganic compounds. The choice of antiscalant or scale inhibitor and correct dosage depends on feed water chemistry and RO system design .
Genesys SI has been developed as an antifoulant for use in Reverse Osmosis and NanoFiltration systems operating on high silica feed-waters.
Application:
Genesys SI should be dosed continuously to the feed water upstream of the cartridge filters. Typical dosage rates are 2-5mg/l.
Genesys LF
Genesys LF is a general purpose liquid antiscalant & antifoulant for use in Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration systems.
Features:
1. Suitable for Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Nano Filtration (NF) membranes.
2. Effective at LSI up to +2.6
3. Excellent inhibitor for iron fouling.
4. Excellent silica antiscalant.
5. Replaces acid addition.
